“Our goal at D.M. Bowman is to be a great service provider to our customers and the only way we can do that is by attracting and retaining the top drivers in our operating areas. We knew that we needed to offer an even more competitive wage to continue to stand above our competitors as an employer of choice.
I am please to announce that we are making significant investments to reward those with seniority at our company and experience in the industry as a whole. Truck drivers with at least one year of experience will receive a minimum of $0.04 increases in their per mile pay. Master and road team drivers can receive $0.06 – $0.11 increases in their per mile pay. We’re also increasing our safety nets across the board. All detention pay is increased from $15- $20 per hour. We have also increased the productivity bonus for regional drivers up to $0.05 per hour.
I want to make it clear that these changes are not temporary or COVID pay like most companies are offering. We are making these changes to make this a place where drivers of every level can grow and retire from a family-owned business.
