WCPS CTE
This week we had the pleasure of stopping by D.M. Bowman, Inc in Wiliamsport and congratulating their newest apprentice, Joshua Gerber, a Washington County Technical High School senior. Joshua is pictured with his mentor, Troy Raffensberger. Joshua is off to a great start! His natural ability and talent, along with the skills he’s honed in automotive repair at WCTHS, has him well prepared to learn the ins and outs of being a diesel mechanic. With a great mentor like Troy, Joshua is sure to take his skills to the next level!

Enforcement personnel on the lookout for unsafe commercial and passenger vehicle drivers during operation safe driver week, July 15-21.
Operation Safe Driver Week, an annual enforcement blitz by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance, is set this year for July 15-21.
During the weeklong blitz, enforcers will focus on traffic violations, seat belt enforcement, driver roadside inspections and driver regulatory compliance. CVSA says driver behavior is the cause of more than 88 percent of large truck crashes and 93 percent of passenger vehicle crashes.
