Minimum Pay Agreement

Like many businesses around the world, the COVID-19 pandemic had a negative impact on our business through the government mandated shutdowns of several of our customers. Though many of our drivers worked tirelessly to deliver supplies for “essential businesses,” our overall freight volume lessened from our manufacturing customers.
 
Our goal is to support our drivers and though COVID-19 has not ended, we have seen an increase in freight demand, so we are pleased to once again implement our MINIMUM PAY AGREEMENT for our drivers in designated Profit Centers.
 
Our belief is that if a driver comes to work and does the job expected of them, they should not have to worry about issues with pay for reasons outside of their control.

ATTENTION DRIVERS:
As you are aware, due to the COVID-19 crisis facing the nation, many states are requiring restaurants to close their dine-in service. For this reason, D.M. Bowman is working to keep an updated list of available truck stops, fast food chains, and local restaurants that offer an option for truck drivers to acquire food.

Please submit additional openings that you know of at this link and feel free to utilize this list while out on the road.

A Letter to Employees and their Families

Dear D.M. Bowman, Inc. Employees and Family,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your family for your support during the recent and coming weeks. We recognize that lives have been temporarily changed with the school and day care closures, health care concerns, and other personal issues related to the Coronavirus.

Therefore, it is with heartfelt gratitude that I can truly say it is an honor to work for a transportation company that is “Carrying Through” for our entire nation. Many of our customers are scrambling to provide all of the supplies that are needed to keep America running. Our Professional Truck Drivers are delivering to our customers to help regain the economic toll that all have experienced. These are truly unprecedented times and we are remaining committed to servicing our customers.

Every employee and all of their family members are an integral part of getting America back on track. It’s times like these that our Company motto of “We Carry Through” means so much to me personally and professionally.

Coronavirus Message – Brian Hall

As our country faces this current Coronavirus challenge, we’d like to say thanks to the Professional Truck Drivers and Office Employees of D.M. Bowman and the entire trucking industry. As always, our drivers and our industry carries thru to ensure that all the critical supplies are delivered to keep America moving and safe.
 
No matter the challenge, our industry always puts others first. We also want to emphasize we will continue to monitor the situation to ensure we keep all of our employees safe while keeping America moving forward.
