Organization Announcement
We are excited to announce the promotion of Brian Hall to Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Jim Ward will be taking over the role of President as well as becoming the next term Chairman of the Truckload Carriers Association.
Brian has been with the Company since 2006 and started as the Sr. Vice President of Business Development. Brian has progressed through the organization and taken on responsibility for customer service and planning and then was promoted to the role of Executive Vice President and COO. Brian’s vision and business acumen will be key to our future growth.
Jim will continue providing us with his expertise in the transportation industry and we look forward to seeing him in his new role as TCA Chairman. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Jim for his contributions to the organization and look forward to his continued involvement with D.M. Bowman.

Minimum Pay Agreement
Like many businesses around the world, the COVID-19 pandemic had a negative impact on our business through the government mandated shutdowns of several of our customers. Though many of our drivers worked tirelessly to deliver supplies for “essential businesses,” our overall freight volume lessened from our manufacturing customers.
Our goal is to support our drivers and though COVID-19 has not ended, we have seen an increase in freight demand, so we are pleased to once again implement our MINIMUM PAY AGREEMENT for our drivers in designated Profit Centers.
Our belief is that if a driver comes to work and does the job expected of them, they should not have to worry about issues with pay for reasons outside of their control.

As you are aware, due to the COVID-19 crisis facing the nation, many states are requiring restaurants to close their dine-in service. For this reason, D.M. Bowman is working to keep an updated list of available truck stops, fast food chains, and local restaurants that offer an option for truck drivers to acquire food.
