With the launch of our new pay package and new weekly performance bonus – we know that there may be questions as the new pay checks go out. For that reason, we have set up a form where you can submit any question you may have in regards to pay! Once you submit a form, it will be sent immediately to our Recruiting & Retention Team who will be able to review your question and provide you with a response. Please take advantage of this system if you have any questions at all!
Driver Pay Increase
”2020 brought a new set of challenges never before seen within our industry and never before seen with our own company. Our drivers continued to carry through in the middle of a pandemic when other industries had the luxury of staying home and staying safe.
Our goal at D.M. Bowman is to be a great service provider to our customers, and the only way we can do that is by attracting and retaining the top drivers in our operating areas. We knew that we needed to offer an even more competitive wage to continue to stand above our competitors as an employer of choice.
I am excited to announce that we are implementing the single largest base pay raise that our company has ever given in our 62 years of business. All CDL positions will be seeing a significant cent per mile increase effective March 28th. You deserve it.
Please get with your Driver Manager to go over the details of these increases.
On top of our new pay increase, we will also be overhauling our bonus pay system. Drivers will be able to earn 6 additional cents per mile every week for being successful in the areas of: safety, customer service, and fuel efficiency. It is our goal that the new bonus system will be much simpler to track for new drivers, and easier for experienced drivers to predict if they will achieve the earned bonus each week.
Thank you to every member of our driving team, we truly appreciate all you do to keep this company moving forward. Let’s all continue to work hard together as we carry through.”
Happy International Women’s Day
To all of the ladies that make the D.M. Bowman team move forward, from drivers and operations/safety team members, to accountants, recruiters, human resources personnel, and everything above or in-between…we want to wish you a happy #InternationalWomensDay!
2020 Jone Bowman Service Award
We are excited to announce the recipient of the 2020 Jone Bowman Customer Service Award is Brandon Hildebrand. Brandon began his career with D.M. Bowman in May of 2016. Since joining our team, he has been in several roles including: afterhours, linehaul, and is currently planning and providing customer service for our PC 02 Operation. During the nomination process of the Jone Bowman Award, Brandon received several customer nominations.
One customer wrote – “Brandon is an excellent communicator and his best attribute is problem solving.” It was also stated: “Brandon is a joy to work with, please continue to have him help with this business, he has set an extremely high bar.”
Another customer wrote: “Brandon displays an elusive “can do” attitude that is lacking in most carrier personnel these days. At the end of the day he gets the results (Customer) is looking for. He’s one of the best carrier people I’ve encountered in 30 years of doing this job.”
With customer feedback like that, it is very apparent that Brandon is more than deserving of this service award!
Great job Brandon and thank you for carrying through! We appreciate having you on the D.M. Bowman team!
